Soy protein

Quinoa protein

Quinoa is another that tends to be mixed with other protein powders, but you can also get it on its own.

Additionally, quinoa is high in iron which adds another functional benefit to this option and it is a complete protein as well.

With most, if not all of these options, they come in natural flavors that are great for adding to smoothies and baking when you don’t want one flavor to dominate.

They are also available in a variety of other flavors like vanilla, banana, and chocolate. These tend to work well for people who just want a simple post-workout protein shake with a delicious kick of flavor.
