Zellee snacks are vegan and gluten-free for healthy eating

It may seem rather modest at first glance, but this little pouch is packed with vitamins, organic fruits and flavors. Zellee is a plant-based snack with no added sugars, artificial flavors, colors and animal gelatin. And that’s only the beginning.

Zellee was started and created by two moms, Eriko and Lisa. In fact, it all started in an ordinary kitchen. Eriko’s mother created her own plant-based gelatin desserts which she made from organic, natural and local materials. Eriko started making the same treats for her own children. They enjoyed the snacks so much that they encouraged their mother to start her own business. Thus, Zellee Organic was born. Eriko struck up a partnership with her friend Lisa and everything blossomed.

Today, Zellee is available in several flavors and all of them are delicious. Zellee is free from all eight major food allergens. There’s no gluten, no nuts, and nothing that can aggravate major food allergies. In other words, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Several flavors are available. Try Orange Peach, Blueberry Grape, Strawberry Pear or Apple Mango. You can also try their herbal sports jelly. Sports jelly is packed with electrolytes and vitamins and comes in two flavors: tropical Hawaiian twist and raspberry aloha.

Plus, each sachet contains vitamins A, C, and D. There’s half a cup of organic fruit in each serving. The fruit jelly is from Maui and it tastes like it. Since this fruit treat is made without gelatin, it is not a gel. It’s a jelly.

In addition, a packet of strawberry pear contains 60 calories. It’s fat-free and packed with prebiotics, real fruit and konjac, a root vegetable that grows in Asia. Konjac has been used for centuries to make noodles and other types of food. The natural konjac fiber fills and expands in the stomach to help you feel full. Additionally, various studies have linked konjac to healthy guts, lower cholesterol, and healthy skin.

The other ingredients used to make these fruit jellies are probably much more familiar. Strawberries, blueberries, apples, mangoes, grapes, oranges, peaches, and pears are used in these snacks. They are locally sourced in Hawaii and used to create Zellee’s variety of delicious fruit treats.

To top it off, each pouch costs less than $20 and is available for purchase. You can order different flavors or get the sample pack of all flavors directly from the website. Both children and adults will enjoy these fruity snacks.

The flavors and even the texture itself of this tasty treat seem to represent Hawaii. The natural sweetness of the fruits and the gelatin of the plant evoke the spirit of palm leaves. You can almost hear tropical birds chirping up the trees with every sip. They call it alohalicious, a combination of “aloha” and “delicious” that really captures the spirit and flavors of Zellee.
